    The off-road technology package improves off-road capability at the touch of a button. It maximises traction on loose ground like gravel. Various off-road programmes optimise the driving characteristics for light or heavy terrain. In addition, a technical underbody protection protects the underbody and engine compartment.

    The Active Brake Assist warns you if you get too close to the vehicle in front of you. First of all, it warns you with a visual and acoustic signal that the distance is too short. If you brake too weakly, it will automatically increase the braking force.

    AIRMATIC is a comfort suspension that intelligently adapts to the driving situation, speed and load. It combines an active shock-absorbing system with modern air suspension. It can even out unevenness on bad roads, stabilise your SUV and make driving even more comfortable for you.

    Keep the surface under control.

    The 4MATIC all-wheel drive system proves its worth in both light and heavy terrain. The longitudinal distributor gearbox flexibly varies the power between the front and rear axles depending on where it is needed. This ensures optimum traction on meadows or gravel roads and increases driving safety.
