[1] According to Directive 92/21/EEC of the Commission of 31st March 1992 and its adaptation through Directive 95/48/EC of the Commission from 20th September 1995 about masses and dimensions of Class M1 powered vehicles (four-wheeled vehicles with a top speed exceeding 25 km/h), kerb mass is defined as the mass of the vehicle in running order (including coolant, lubricant, fuel, spare wheel, tools and driver). A uniform mass of 75 kg (68 kg + 7 kg luggage) is assumed for the driver.

[2] The kerb weight of vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive is increased by up to 170 kg.

[3] The payload of vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive is reduced by up to 170 kg.

[4] Uprated permissible gross combination weight in conjunction with reinforced trailer coupling (optional), depending on the powertrain variant – except for the Sprinter 316 and 316 NGT.
